A Fight to Return to the Center of the Group

As a result of all our work we should see unity in the center of the group. Only there in the state of unity, upon nullifying himself, in one heart, can a person see his new spiritual state. Everything is there, everything, and the Creator is there as well, the vessel that is everyone’s unity is there along with the Creator who fills this vessel. And if one tries really hard this state comes to him. Thus, one should test to what extent it is more convenient and advantageous for him is to see his future in the center of the group, to what extent he is glad that it is there instead of any other place. He should imagine himself only in the center of the group and not in any other place, he should understand and feel that everything that he imagines is only to direct himself to the center of the group. And the world that he sees now is illusionary and it is needed to show him to what extent he is concentrated on the center of the group. And when he gets concentrated enough and approaches the entrance into the spiritual, he will discover the entire world there, everything is really there, it is the place where everyone loves each other and we are all united together.

All Together

We need the desires of all of us, as well as those of everyone in particular. These aspirations should be united together and then we should ask for the correction from above. The correction can only come from above. But this lack will only be discovered in the common request, the common prayer, in the prayer of many. Only on the condition that everybody will start working together even more. And you should not run away from that!

Above the Will to Receive

We are only asking for unity, only for adhesion. We do not ask for realization of our will to receive. We always turn to the right. We wish neither to consider our will to receive, nor to come into any contact with it. I want unity adhesion, the greatness, mutual guarantee, one heart, etc. I aspire to rise above the will to receive.

The Wish to be There

“Fighting” means constantly thinking about the unity of friends and wanting to be there, wishing to dissolve in them. To be in the state when you are dissolved in them like a drop of semen in the womb of the group, you lose yourself there. “Getting lost” there means acting influenced by the upper light that brings you up. And suddenly you realize that the group is not the faces that you see as you thought before, it is the internal concept of the group that awakens among you in such a way that you are inside of them and start growing into the image of the Creator. Suddenly you start distinguishing the hands, the feet of the spiritual substance-the Partzuf, its head. You start acquiring some form that is called a man, Adam, who is like the Creator. Where does it happen? It is in the center of the group, in this womb, that you can grow the image of the Creator.

One Wish

What we want upside down is to glorify the Creator, the property of bestowal over the property of reception in all the situations we experience and when we want this together in the upward direction. No matter what happens, we undertake the obligation of being as one man with one heart. Primarily this is the very way we have to unite. Secondly, we should be in the state of mutual guarantee, meaning, every one of us should get stronger by means of others and everyone should strengthen themselves by means of every one of you. And then this means that all of us have one desire already.

All of Us Like One

What conditions should we satisfy in our relations with each other in order to become as similar as possible to the upper spiritual level? “The Creator will complete for me” the work according to our efforts. Meaning, the light will shine and correct everything and we cannot accomplish that on our own. If we could to that, we would have been there already. There is always a slit between the levels and it is: I have found it upon exerting efforts; I have found it again upon exerting efforts anew. First I should try and then a certain action comes from above, but this level emerges in me already. We do not have the spirituality and we know that everyone’s power is in his will to receive pleasure. So what can we do to rise to the spiritual level? How can we build the image of the spiritual level from what we have? This is actually all that have to do. Meaning, we should aspire toward unity. Everyone should only want one thing: he should wish to unite and perceive this work as something great and respectable. This is called appreciating the Upper One. How should I appreciate Him, what is the greatness of the goal, the greatness of the Upper One? The Upper One is my state of adhesion with others into one whole. This is called “the Upper One” and nothing more than that. The property of bestowal that reveals in the effort of each one of us is called “the Creator” (Bo- re “come and see”). I should feel that I am ready for anything in this work. Meaning, I imagine my state as the worst, when I have no more place to fall and any other state of unity with others is better than this one and it is as if nothing can influence me any more. I imagine that adhesion with the Creator is the common property of bestowal and love. I imagine that I become one with Him in my property of bestowal and love that I develop. I can search and test every time whether I already have at least a little bit of that. With regards to whom do I make such a test to avoid mistakes? I do that with regards to my environment, my friends. I do that toward other parts of the vessel that I should unite with in order to reveal the Creator.

The Creator Will Complete It for Me

The Kabbalists are not telling you to perform unreal actions that contradict logic. They tell you that you should try to enter the state they advise you to enter in order to understand that you are unable of doing that, so that the desire for that develops in you, so that you always develop from the state of denial. And then you need the Light that Reforms that does everything for you. You should constantly aspire to prepare the vessel and the upper light will complete all the work for you. Nobody asks you do perform the actions that are similar to what the Creator does, because He is the only one who is capable of doing that. You only have to determine that you are incapable of doing it on your own even if you did want to do it and, thus, you ask Him. As the goal of creation is not you corrected, it is you adhered to Him.

One Family

We are in such a state when we are required to be one family. We should care about everyone being connected, feeling their involvement in this, feeling that they are one family, not just a community, because community isn’t enough. All the children are as one child, all women are as one woman, all men are as one man-this is what is required of us. We should reach this state in order to set an example for others and our advancement depends on that. You should not forget that the evil inclination is located among us and it alienates us, it invents various reasons for every one of us to be in his own place and only care about himself. But we have to break all the barriers and rise above that. We should clearly realize what is happening to us, as we are given a chance to advance, but we cannot use it in many cases. We neglect this chance, we justify our ego and each one of us prefers to only care about himself. We can only see the common vessel if we rise above our egos. Today it depends on men, and women who follow our example. Thus, we should not see every family as a separate cell at our meals and other events; we need to feel real closeness to each other instead. I warn you that our bright future depends solely on this. The time has come to clarify this. We should not be separated by these tall walls and this is very important! We can say beautiful words, but is we do not manage to reach the state when we are really present here as one family, we will reach nothing. It’s a pity not to make a use of such chance and, thus, I ask everyone to seriously think about that and to really do everything to make sure that the spirit of one common family really hovers among us.

In Your Current State

Imagine what the upper world means, what is your upper state, and try to be in this state as much as possible. You are building the next step in this world under current conditions. You attitude towards the rest of us that is different from the current one is called “the upper world”. You reveal that it is here and that there are no other places, there is not anything else but this. You see different new ways of connection among you and the others. The entire upper level that includes the Creator filling the world reveals here to you. Here you reveal that the world is the holy Shechina and that the Creator fills It, He is inside of it. You do not need to fly away into some other dimension.

Faith Above Reason

In such a case what does me going above that means? Is it above faith? All these signals along with my brain, with everything that I know and knew before, as well as with what I can see now, etc., all this together is called “knowledge”, “my knowledge”. So what is above knowledge? There is no thing like that, this is absurdity. It is like you were told to “get insane”. Because above reason is actually the absence of reason or something opposite to it. Is this really logical and rational? What are we to do? We can conclude that right now I need to build an opposite new perception instead of my normal feelings, in addition to them, in addition to my heart and mind. This does not mean that I perceive the reality in a new way and pull such a perception to me and this is the way that I now feel me and the reality. No, I work at that and I work in the state of bestowal. I should extract all these signs from me instead of receiving them from the outside. How can I extract them from inside of me? I am told that this is very simple. You should feel the needs of those around you instead of your own needs. Your body is in the state of contact with this world. Start establishing the needs of the world and unite with them, with these needs, desires, and troubles of others. If you now start working not to receive the signals from them, but to fill them, it will be called working above knowledge, above your opinion. Then all your previous knowledge will only be directed to filling them.

In Spite of Resistance

What does the “choice” mean if it is not done in spite of resistance? If you are unable to deal with resistance and unite with the group in your heart and mind, in spite of the difficulties that emerge all the time, this is the sign that you do not use all the chance. It does not matter whether it is the lessons, the Creator, your friends, the teacher, or books. You should strengthen yourself exchanging one thing for the other. When you enter the group you should have no head. The group is your head and you wish to reveal the head of the upper one, the Creator, bestowal, in it. You neither understand that, nor want it, you do not agree with it, you reject it, and this is the way it should be, because otherwise you cannot build yourself without any resistance. If you wait for your consent, than you are an animal, while if you overcome that, you build a human inside of you.

The True Prayer

There is a work for us and it is creating the property of bestowal by means of our common effort, and, according to this property, we will get to such a state that if we really try hard (and all our data is already inside of us) the aspiration toward the true demand for this power of bestowal awakens in us. Sometimes we see that we are still inside of the egoistic power and that we cannot get out of it, and that our entire game of building the property of bestowal among us is only needed to determine that this is impossible. In any event we are only experiencing the property of reception. We can only pray and standing at the “gate of tears” to receive this power of bestowal from above as a gift, as a discovery. This way we advance each time by means of the group that includes all the conditions, all the laws, as it is said: “awaken love in the hearts of my friends”. Thus, we only build all the conditions for creating the true prayer in order to receive the power of bestowal. When we invest all our strength in this and see that our ego is controlling us so far, and we realize that we cannot do anything, than there, at the end of all our efforts, our will to unite and our will to “burn each other down”, there, in the state of collision and understanding the “true prayer”, “the prayer of many” reveals to us. And this way we get to experience the power of bestowal for the first time.

Question: How can we realize this analog of limitation toward the group?

When we want to glorify the Creator, the property of bestowal over the property of reception in all the situations we experience and when we want this together in the upward direction. Secondly, we should be in the state of mutual guarantee, meaning, every one of us should get stronger by means of others and everyone should strengthen themselves by means of every one of you. And then this means that all of us have one desire already. And what should be above this single desire? As this single desire represents nothing so far; however, we are at the foot of Mount Sinai, the mountain of hatred. Meaning, we are standing together at the foot of this mountain of hatred. There conditions are necessary here: one heart, mutual responsibility (both of them are below), while Moses and the Torah are at the top of the mountain. This means that the adhesion with the Creator is at the top of the mountain, whereas Moses is our common force that is above us. This is the greatness of the Creator, the greatness of the goal!

Question: Based on your response to Haim we can conclude that there is certain polarity between the upwards and downwards directions. Could You please clarify that?

No. I cannot reveal that. You can do it on your own, but it will only happen if you unite among yourselves. Otherwise, you are no vessel. Until you automatically learn that when we talk about a desire, this is a common desire, nothing will happen. Simply when I talk about the vessel, it means together. If I talk about the light, it is the pleasure inside of us when we are together. This should already be at the instinct level for you. If you do not have it in your heart so far, and I mean not in your head, but specifically in your heart… It should be clear to you that the situation is like this and cannot be any other way. It is like you say: “Sour” and I immediately feel the sour taste in my mouth. This is the way it should be.

We should realize that in our days all the preparations from above including the descent of the vessels, their adhesion, and the appearance of the surrounding light are completed already. We are allowed to use the surrounding light in order to start rising above it and determine the time, while everything is ready for our correction. Thus, we should calculate which commandment is easy and which is difficult, and what time suits us, and what does not really do that.

Everything already depends only on the way we organize ourselves, the way we determine everything with our growing unity, and then we would rise above these essences of time, place, movement, and all kinds of accidents that happen to us. We will set up all this inside of our growing unity. It is said about that: “Be careful and the difficult commandment will become easy,” because we should rise above that.

You should overcome each time in order to receive the award and then you are the one who determines ascents and descents, and the tempo, as well as each state. And then you will see that every state supports your advancement more and more, and you will justify these states, justify everything that happens to you until you achieve the state when there is the “day” all the time, there is the light of infinity all the time. And finally you will realize that you have always been in this light and that you should just change your perception, your attitude, correct your vessels. You should just never forget that the correction is only possible inside of the growing unity among us.

Question: We are reading The Zohar during Hanukkah festival, but something tells me that we do not twist this wriggling, that we do not perform this miracle of attracting the light.

Meaning you cannot “charge your batteries” in the morning in such a way that it is enough for the entire day?

Question: At this moment I feel that we lack unity. Perhaps I am the one to blame for that?

And how do you think it can be done? How can we make you feel that you are among us while you are being very far from us physically? Everyone has to leave for their places of residence regardless of the extent that they are close to our cause. So how do you want to receive the strength from us? How can we make you constantly feel in your heart that your friends are with you, that you that all of you are doing the same thing, your common business? What does that depend on? Talk to us.

Question: I do not know how to express that, but I feel that we can do more.

Meaning, you feel that there is no mutual guarantee here.

Question: I have the feeling that everyone has washed his shorts and hung them on the rope to dry and attached it there with the clothespin. I do not feel that we are in the same washing machine together…perhaps something is simply wrong with me?

You are actually all right, but we need all the desires from each and every one of us, we need the necessity. We should unite all this together and ask for help from above. The corrections can only come from above. But they will come to us as a response to our request in the form of the prayer of many only if you are going to work all together. And you should continue to work at the point where you are now located and do not run away from that.

What is more important to me: to sit and study, or to build the new house, or to disseminate, or to bring more people to the correction of the world. The task I face should be clear: I need to choose the most effective means for uniting with the Kabbalists of all generations, as well as with the teacher and the group. As it is only through them that I can be connected and directed to the Creator. If I am directed to Him, then what exactly should this tip be concentrated on? Now I should check what this tip is. I do not see it with my eyes; it is for the sake of bestowal: nullifying myself, the greatness of the goal, the greatness of the Creator, meaning, of the power of bestowal, love for my neighbor. Now you start working with these data looking for ways of connecting it together into one whole. In a few moments it scatters and falls apart again because a new will to receive awakens inside of you, new conditions appear. This is meant by choosing the best environment every day.

Question: On Fridays I invite friends to my house. We sing and drink; we have a meal together; we thank and glorify our method, Rav, and the Creator. I really feel that it affects me very strongly and gives huge power to all of us. What else can we do? Is this the main means? 

This is important. I do not know what to say… working at the construction of our new home together. Everything depends on how you awaken yourselves on your own. Unity in all places and strengthening it more and more, and most importantly doing that at the time of descent. We can win a lot at such times. When you ascend, you work using the fuel that was given to you. It shines to you from above and you jump on this wave and continue your movement, you simply glide over it. Whereas, during a descent, even the smallest effort, you should see yourself in a constant state, like a train. You need to turn the wheels both back and forth in order to rotate them and this has to be done all the time. One can advance the same way. It seems to us that he is moving backwards, but he still moves ahead. It is also possible to form and accumulate strength at the time of descent and it gives much stronger clarification then when you do that at the time of an ascent. You are a part of our animate nature and from this thickness, this Aviut, you slowly achieve the revelation. This helps a lot and even if you see that you fall in a moment that still leads you to great achievements.

Question: How is this connected with my wish to return to the center of the group, by this war of mine?

It really is a war. If you wake up in the morning and feel that you have to be concentrated on the center of the group-this is the sign that you are on the right path. If every time when you get thrown out into this world where you are in a sort of unconscious state you immediately understand that you have to be in that very place, in the center of the group-than you are moving in the right direction.

 Question: Is there a certain feeling regarding the center of the group in this work? What happens there, in the center of the group, what atmosphere is there?

You get the feeling that there is nobody there. There is just one wish, reality that is felt in this wish, only this one feeling, there are no other ones. How can this be imagined? Say, I make a simulation of something on the computer screen, but there is also the real picture of that. I do not know how to explain that and I am afraid to confuse you. In other words, you understand that nothing is real in this world, no forces, that it is the copy of the spiritual world and this copy is corrupted, but you do that as much as you are able to reach the more correct vision. All of that is needed to lead you to the realization of this corruption and to lead you in the right direction, so that you can enter the real world every time. As if you have your life and a theatre and in this theatre you see how wrong was your vision of everything; and that you will see the real life when you correct.

We should anticipate the Light that Reforms, so that it gives us the chance to work at our will to receive in order to use it in the opposite form. All this happens when one does not despair and forces himself to reach the state when he won’t allow himself to escape and see the realization of this work in the unity, in the center of the group. Only there, in the state of unity, nullifying himself in one heart, he will see the new spiritual state. Spirituality is reached neither by the death of one’s body, nor by chancing something, but only due to efforts in the concentration on how to reach the center of the group. Everything is there, the Creator is there, the vessel of unity that includes everyone together and the Creator as the filling of this vessel. And this happens when one tries to reach it. Thus, he can test himself by how much more convenient, easy for him is to see his future in the center of the group, how happy he is to really be there and not in any other place, to what extent he already cannot imagine any other occurrences and the places, but only the center of the group. To what extent he feels and understands everything that he imagines-all this is just to direct him to the center of the group. And really the world that he sees now is an illusionary world and it is necessary to show him to what extent he is not concentrated on the center of the group. When he is concentrated and reaches this passage into the spiritual, he will see that the entire world is in this very place.

Always in a Good Mood

No matter what state one is in he should always believe that this is the best state in order to cognize the Creator. One should act this way in every state he experiences instead of waiting for a better state. There is neither better nor worse state-every state is optimal. Meaning, every state is the best for revealing the Creator, for reaching the goal of creation. Every state! Otherwise it can be concluded that you want to say that the Creator is good at one moment and not good at another one. Meaning, is He not the good that doeth good? Sometimes He is like that and other times he isn’t? He advances you to the goal of creation in accordance with all your properties and the upper light shines in the very best way to reveal them. Based on these properties you feel closer, further away, better, worse, but the light is infinite toward all your properties; it always reforms.

I am Glad

How can one test whether he is glued to the group? It is very simple and every one of you can do that every day, even several times per day. Ask yourself the following questions: does any foreign thought come to you, certain fear, shiver, disappointment, anything at all? Do you realize the height of the next step you have to ascend to when certain thought, fear, shiver, and disappointment comes into your head? If I immediately perceive it with joy, and if I am glad that this reveals, as Baal haSulam said: ”I am happy to see the evil that is revealing inside of me”; and if you are immediately ready to rise above it, and feel that all that was prearranged-it means that I am glued to the group. The reason is that when the obstacles come to me only the power of the group gives me the chance to ascend. Whereas if I am not glued to the group, I fall, I start engaging in self-reproach and I feel sorry about what happens to me. Thus, we can conclude that everyone who is glued to the group is always in a good mood, his spirits are high, he is glad about what happens with him. Whereas the one who is not glued to the group falls, receives the blows again, and falls again, and receives the blows again, and it happens this way until he sees that nothing works for him, and then he leaves. This is a very good test. Try it.

Deciding in Favor of Unity

Bad thoughts are just thoughts directed against unity with the Creator, against the unity of the group. Meaning, they are directed either toward Him or toward us, like the light and the vessel-the Kli with regards to the corrected state that includes these two parts-the light and the vessel. I either swear about the Creator or about the vessel and this is the unity among us. All the rest is not important. You can scream at your neighbor at home as much as you wish. Swearing is only with regards to the corrected state which I have to achieve specifically right now. It is when I do not treat it as the object of my desire like the “scale arrow”. Swearing is the name of my reluctance to tip the scale for me and the rest of the world toward unity.

Revelation in the Concealment

We can only please the Creator when we are in the state of concealment. The reason is that only then you can show Him that in spite of the concealment you wish to adhere with Him with all your heart. You would not have been able to please Him if there was no concealment. Thus, the concealment remains. It is called “Safra deTsinuta” or the revelation from the concealment, revelation inside of the concealment. When we create the Masach and the reflected light, this is the place where we reveal the Creator, not the other way around. “What is the difference between the holy shadow and the shadow of the Sitra Achra”? It is said: ”I longed for him passionately in the shadow” This is the question of image. Meaning, I wish to shield the Creator from me when He reveals, I wish to be devoted to Him regardless of His revelation. Otherwise I “sell” myself with my ego to these pleasures when He reveals. It is not too hard to do that when He reveals. If I scream:” Reveal now, it is not hard at all for You!” and He reveals, what am I telling Him by this request? I will be 100% devoted to You if You reveal, I will do everything You want for You. Of course I will work, but where will I be while doing that? I will become condemned. I will get dependent on His revelation.

Thank you for Creating it.

Our prayer should be directed straight to the goal, not to some special conditions. “I will be able to overcome something if I receive that and then I will be stronger; I will become more focused upon receiving something else, etc.”. All this is not needed, in fact, not only it is not needed, it even tells us that one is not clear toward the goal, that he gives sets up his own terms. We only need one thing: self-nullification, reaching the level of the beginning of the fetus, when I do not exist, like it was in the drop of semen from which I developed. This is the state I should experience right now. Meaning, I should wish for the state when nothing is left of me other than the things that descend from the upper one. I wish for the point in the heart, the root of my soul to be the first to begin its development. Meaning, the root of the soul should not be egoistic like it is now, because it is broken. And even the point in the heart is broken, as I aspire to the Creator in order to understand, earn, and feel. So I should wish that this concept turns upside down inside of me; that this point in the heart turns into the property of bestowal-this is what I should ask for. Meaning, I do not demand to become wiser, stronger, more sensitive, etc. No, I do not ask for anything of the kind. I only ask for one thing: a minimal adhesion. I am grateful that You have created me with such tendency. And now I am asking that the Reshimo, the point, the very drop be adhered to you and for it to gradually develop this way. All others ways besides this one are already showing some additions and that is never right.

Only in Unity

It only says here about unity, it is generally forbidden to think about anything else. What is out there besides the point of unity, the point of connection, the drop of unity? There is nothing besides that. Everything that reveals to us, the entire world that is revealing now, all this is opposite to unity. Why do I see the planet, the stars, all of you? I see the phenomena outside of unity. Thus, all that is called this world, there is no other one. Meaning, what should I think about? Should I think about this world or about unity? If you just think about this world, than you are in the state of lies, you are inside of this game, on this infinite marry go round. But if you wish to leave this game which is doomed to be lost and if you do not with to be just a puppet in it, than you should only think about unity.

You should not think about anything other than unity; through love of created beings to love of the Creator. Connection to the center of the group from where the adhesion with the Creator is really reached. You should never ask for anything less than unity!

Believing Rav

Like a baby is naturally nullified toward its parents, all of us together and every one of us individually should nullify ourselves toward our teacher exerting maximum efforts to achieve that. This is the content of one’s entire work. It is all about one’s nullification toward his Rav; by the way one listens to Rav’s advice about working in the group we can see to what extent he values the spirituality, how he aspires to reveal the Creator. Such is actually the chain that one should follow in his realization; and everything is completed in the group. What does the teacher demand from us? Rav only teaches an individual how to concentrate his strength correctly, how to obtain the right thinking process and analysis. He directs an individual from the outside, he neither shortens, nor widens him; Rav just directs the person. Thus, such person is educated in the direction of development, but he is to do it in his own manner. Of course there are many things here that we do not understand yet, that are still concealed from us. Everything depends on the extent to which the student is capable of nullifying himself toward the teacher’s advice and following them over the entire path of his advancement, not just this moment. Thus, all the conditions reveal only from the upper governance and along with these external and internal factors that reveal one just has to follow the advice of the upper one. The level of one’s faith in his Rav depends solely on the group. The composition of the opposites is present here. We see two types of work here: from Rav to the group and from the group to Rav; and due to that one determines his level and his ability to rise above him directed to the Creator.

In the Right Place

We receive the feeling of the Creator as much as we wish to nullify ourselves. How do we reveal the will to nullify ourselves? We do that in the group. You should be ready to bring everything you have to the group as your pay to the place where everything is revealed. Where do you become a fetus, where is this womb? The womb is the group, but you do not recognize what is there so far. We only see the faces that are more or less pleasant to us, more or less close to us, sometimes it seems to us that they are strangers and have nothing to do with the group. But the worlds are there, inside the group, as well as the entire connection between us; we just do not recognize it yet. If you aspire to reveal all that at this particular correct place, you prepare this place, your womb. And then it becomes the proof of the fact that you can develop.

 Inside of the Group

The main thing for us it to primarily determine that our realization is inside of the group. This is very difficult and it happens very slowly, but we should make a decision about our future while we are still in the process of making this clarification. I do not move from here, from the center of the group, and the more I group this center in my understanding, the more I adhere to it, the sooner the exit into the spiritual is formed there and the deeper and deeper I enter inside of the spiritual dimension. Besides that I should work with my friends and they should work with me. And the third thing is that we should receive our aspiration from dissemination. If we do not care about all the nations, not just about Israel, we will not get worthy of becoming “the kingdom of priests and holly men”. We should understand that all the desires that we receive from the external environment should be realized in the center of the group in any case. I mean precisely in the very center, not at the top, as I drew. I draw in accordance with the level, but sensitively it happens at the very center inside of the group. There I reveal the upper force, there I appeal. Thus, I absorb the power from there too. All of us get together and then we start caring about the outer circles again and through us to the nations of the world. This is not a difficult work, but it should concentrate on “Israel, the Torah, and the Creator are one”. It means that the aspiration should be to the center of the group and from there to the discovery of the upper power. All this is not complicated, but it is necessary for us to concentrate more and more every time. As for all the powers directed to get us out of this state of concentration, they are only needed to confuse us. And you should concentrate your attention more and more and be even more precise. This is our work.

Mutual Guarantee as the Goal

If you try to be with the group as one man with one heart and if you are in such state until the final correction only to create this common heart, if you exert efforts, than, based on this point, you already perceive unity as the goal. If you try to make mutual guarantee you goal, than it is from this point of your goal that you check to what extent everything that happens to you helps. You seat like a pilot at the helm and look at the goal, while you are constantly being thrown to the left or to the right. You are like a rocket, you cannot move to your goal following the straight line all the time. Your environment that keeps changing all the time makes you change a little every time as well. If external conditions do not keep giving you a certain error you are incapable of determining your location. You should experience such errors all the time, otherwise in the absence of any difference between the two directions (when one is toward the goal and the other one is the deviation from it) you will not be able to determine your exact location.

You should fly in this very manner either guided by the North Star or by the radar located at your station-this is the necessary thing. It is necessary that you have these two points and you should keep directing yourself relative to them. This is the way it works in all navigation systems and actually everywhere else. We drew many times the flight path of a rocket that constantly tests itself by means of a hydroscope in order to reach its goal. Same thing happens to us. But it happens on the condition that you have a goal, that this goal is unity and the Creator in it and that we please the Creator by aspiring to this unity. This is actually all. On the one hand “Israel, the Torah, and the Creator are one”, while on the other hand “there is none else besides Him”. In order for me to reach this state He should be my partner and this partner keeps sending obstacles to me all the time. Why? In order for me to recognize Him in a more precise form. The closer I get to Him, the more precisely I should be directed to Him. We do not just approach some direction, some country, city, this airfield where we should land. As we approach the place we need He sends us the feeling of where exactly we are located, where we are present and where we are not present at all; and this way we correct ourselves all the time.

Between Him and me

Everything that happens to you happens between you and the Creator. Your friend shows you the issues that you have to overcome. It can be a friend, a teacher, does not matter who. You should concentrate on “there is none else besides Him” as soon as you start the spiritual work. Then who is he, this friend of yours? He is the one who joins you on the path, when you intend to reveal the powers of bestowal among you.

You should not think about anything other than unity; through love of created beings to love of the Creator. Connection to the center of the group from where the adhesion with the Creator is really reached. You should never ask for anything less than unity!

Question: It is said that our work should be based on faith above reason. How can I check that? I cannot tell myself whether I am holding a snake or a rod.

Sefira Yesod located above Malchut, the will to receive is the basis. How can you find out whether you are in the Yesod or in Malchut? It is very simple-you should determine whether your heart, your desires are in the group like all the desires and wishes of a mother are in her child or in her children if she has several. However, it also depends on whether the group awakens you; how do you treat each other. Everything depends on the mutual work; there is nothing else besides that; all the rest comes from that. Thus, all this work in the new building, preparation for the convention, as well as other work we do such as taking notes, making lists, and all our efforts-this is what builds us. As for the actual test, it is very simple: to what extend and how many times per day do you aspire to the center of the group? To what extent you feel more and more that there is one power there, the power of mutual bestowal that is called “one heart”, and the Creator reveals in it.

 Question: I am talking about the internal war between a Jew and a Greek, about the Hanukkah holiday. The Greeks start to win this war. Do we have to hope for a miracle?

What miracle did you have before the war? I do not see the Jew in you, just the Greek. You should build a Jew in you. You should take the group, the Light that Reforms, the Goal, give a firm basis to all this, so that your point in the heart, the point of your unity with the Creator grows holding on to all this. Then you will be called a Jew in accordance with your unity with the Creator and His unity with you. Only then the Jew will show in you that will start fighting with the Greek. And than you will feel the real Greek who is not like your current definition of him, your Greek will be really against the Jew. Now it is just something like the Greek that you imagine, this is not the Greek they are talking about here; it is, say, just some Yogi person from India sitting and dreaming somewhere there. Here the Greek is the name of an approach that is against the method of Kabbalah. The Greek will only grow in you when you become a Jew.

Question: From what point will I start building the Jew if I only have Greeks, Indians, the Chinese and God knows who else inside of me?

You have all the nations of the world, all the desires and kinds of them from the start and this has nothing to do with the spiritual. It is like you see 50 breeds of cows in our world, 20 breeds of horses, 100 breeds of dogs-all of this is inside of you now. When you start building a human inside of you, you will start revealing the Greeks, Indian, and all rest of the 70 nations of the world with all their faiths and beliefs that are opposite to the Jew in you. Due to that all these wars will appear and you will be able to build a perfect for of unity with the Creator. And then it will be different Greeks, while so far there are no Greeks at all here. Thus, I am telling you that I do not perceive these philosophers at all; I do not perceive them because they are unfamiliar with Kabbalah. Ancient philosophers knew Kabbalah-they came and studied back from the time of the profits. Further on it so happened that they were unable to get inside of it and only saw the external part. But they still knew the fundamentals.

Please tell me if you depend on me does this mean that we work for each other or not? If I do not awaken you toward the spiritual your point in the heart helps you for some time like several months, perhaps several years, but then you will simply slide off the way if you do not receive an awakening from me. Meaning, you are given some temporary interest in the spiritual, but then you should keep nullifying yourself all the time. You are given a push and you advance for several months or even years depending on the person. After that you should grab the principle of work and continue working toward the group that awakens you and you awaken them and this way you continue your mutual work. It usually takes years, but finally one starts hearing and begins doing something for the group. He starts being sensitive to this mutual awakening. And even if that does not happen, his problems and disappointments lead him to the understanding that otherwise nothing will work out. It becomes the most precious thing for him; he starts seeing the necessity of the group and his friends. There is nothing to do about this; I depend on them in realization of my spirituality. Meaning, they really turn into the parts of my soul. Suddenly one starts loving others, he wants to simply kiss all of them, while before that he did not even want to see them-this is a huge change! This way he changes under the influence of the light. If you and I are in one group, can we possibly say that I work for you and you work for me? I know that I am unable to advance without others: they awaken me, they pull me, they incite me; I am incapable of doing anything without them.

At first I thought that I will simply sit with my books and study seeing them at the meals periodically; this is normal. I did not feel that I depend on them, that this dependence is not even 99%, but the whole 100%. If I do not use them even for 1% out of these 100%, I won’t be able to reach the goal. Meaning, this is not an auxiliary instrument, this is the vessel inside of which I receive revelation of the Creator. They are this Kli, no other one is given to us. You start seeing them as all the worlds, all the souls; everything is shown to me in these nitwits that I see, these bummers, couch potatoes, fools, etc. And I depend on them a 100%. So what can I do if my entire life and death depends upon them and they do not even know that? Now tell me, are we really working for each other? You are the one to decide that.

A system specialist is the person who is capable of seeing himself with the eyes of the group instead of seeing himself from the inside, from his will to receive. It happens as much as I admire the group, when this admiration brings me to the state of loving them, to evaluating and respecting them as much as I am worthy of receiving blows. Then I can interpret these blows correctly as being directed to my ego instead of to me personally. If I associate myself with my ego, I will feel even the smallest blows. Then I am incapable of justifying the Creator and, thus, strong blows won’t be given to me, I will receive the usual blows as the rest of humanity. Meaning these blows will be substandard. Whereas, if I associate myself with the group, as well as with the Creator for whom I search inside of it, then I will receive negative understanding. Asking questions such as:”Why am I not finding Him so far, why do I not meet Him, why do I not build Him, why do I not recognize Him?” I will receive the negative understanding already in accordance with that, and this negative understanding will direct me to the way of discovering Him, revealing the form that is called the Creator. But it can only happen if I get away from me, if I rise above me to the side of the group.

Question: How can I prepare for that and check whether I really contribute to the development of such a system?

If I care about being inside of the group (or try to be there) not just physically, but truly internally, and if all my desires, thoughts, and decisions are made not from my point of view, but from theirs. This shows to what extent I am devoted to them and can advance by faith above my reason and following their reason, while their reason is adhesion with the Creator.

Question: A special event will happen tonight. Friends from all Israeli groups, men and women, will come to work in the new building. After they finish their work there will be a workshop and a meal. It will continue from 6p.m. to 9 p.m. ….

And I am not invited. You are silent, aren’t you? No problem, I am already used to this.

It starts and 6:00 p.m. and finishes at 9:00 p.m. and there is a detailed schedule. 170 people participated in similar event last week.

Actually I come there every day and see that there is a huge advancement on the daily basis. It is happening within these last 2 weeks when everything started.

You should all be together! And I really support women coming there and respect their work; and there is lots of work. Great! So, we will all meet there at 6:00 p.m.
